USS Wisconsin

Looking down Plume Street from the intersection with Granby Street, this is what you see: 





at the very end you can see the Battleship Wisconsin, one of the largest and last battleships ever built by the U.S. Navy.
It is berthed at Nauticusa contemporary museum that uses the natural setting of Norfolk’s harbor to showcase global maritime commerce and the world’s largest Navy.


AT the same intersection, if you turn around, this is what you see:


Two of the many Norfolk mermaids: on the left “Miss Definitely Downtown” and on the right “Miss Gem of the Sea”.


Today I am grateful for funny movies that make me laugh.
