Welcome to Microfiction Monday,
where a picture paints 140 characters, or even fewer.
Here’s this week’s picture, followed by my story for it —
“I regret the moment Genie granted my wish to get wings:
all I do now is flying from castle to castle so “he” can sow his wild oats.”
[131 characters]

Today I am grateful forΒ having time to do things I enjoy.
Yep… that's the way it goes…. :O)
Good thing it wasn't Endora, or the wish might have turned out a lot worse.
Oh, yes indeed! That is the way it goes!! Love it! Have a great week!Sylvia
I guess he's bigger so he wins.Good one.
I always thought that when the promise of a fulfilled wish was presented, the protagonist should ask for a million more free wishes. Oh well…hindsight is always better than foresight. Maybe there's a time limit on the wings.
Very good!
That's men for you! Loved your story – so funny.Have a great week x
They always say you should be careful what you wish for!
I'm with AJ — one never knows how a wish will be granted!Very nicely done! And I love the idea of milepebbles instead of stones! Stones can so weigh you down. But pebbles can be carried in the pocket! (I know because I have a son and have to empty those pockets before laundry!)
Who said be careful what you wish for? π
Very cool that you have taken the winged horse's point of view. π
Like he wants to be this playboy's chauffeur. LOL. Great one.
Oh wow – I never thought of the poor horse's part in this — this is wonderful!
