Microfiction Monday.

Welcome to Microfiction Monday,
where a picture paints 140 characters, or even fewer.
Here’s this week’s picture, followed by my story for it —
“I regret the moment Genie granted my wish to get wings:
all I do now is flying from castle to castle so “he” can sow his wild oats.”
[131 characters]

Today I am grateful for having time to do things I enjoy.

  1. I always thought that when the promise of a fulfilled wish was presented, the protagonist should ask for a million more free wishes. Oh well…hindsight is always better than foresight. Maybe there's a time limit on the wings.

  2. I'm with AJ — one never knows how a wish will be granted!Very nicely done! And I love the idea of milepebbles instead of stones! Stones can so weigh you down. But pebbles can be carried in the pocket! (I know because I have a son and have to empty those pockets before laundry!)
