How exciting it is to come back from work and find the Hobonichi package that the mail carrier left in front of your door!
September 1st was the first day you could order online the 2015 planner and the new covers. September 1st was the day I placed my order. And 10 days later, I got my package from Japan.
The unboxing:
And showing here the items contained:
The actual Hobonichi Techo planner is the black book on the bottom right, the cover I chose is the Angus made of leather and Harris Tweed of Scotland. Isn’t it gorgeous?
The blue book with cute illustrations is a blank book with pages that are easy to rip out. The paper of this notebook and the Hobonichi planner is the fabulous Tomoe River paper that is very thin but takes watercolors or fountain pens ink without bleed through.
I also ordered a red clip ruler (it’s a sickness that I am so attracted to rulers), this one clips perfectly to the hobonichi page!
The mechanical-pencil looking object, is actually a mechanical…. eraser: so cool!
And then there is a package of Moon Paper: large circles of paper that can be folded into mailable letters.
